Debt Collection Tactics on cnn.com — huh?

I’m not sure what to think. Today there was a decent article on debt collection tactics and consumer’s rights on the front page of CNN.com. Here is the link to, “Rogue Debt Collectors — How to Fight Them“.

The article is pretty good, it is also pretty generic, as is to be expected from a National publication. I’m just curious what this says about the National appetite for news when this rates CNN.com’s front page. I’m pretty sure that they use some kind of statistical click monitor to decide what to run where. After all, they make a lot more money than I do; and I can figure that out. So, how many people must be clicking on articles about debt management for this to rate a front page link?

Must have been a slow day for CNN.
